Learn About UMBC
Throughout the day of the tournament, several different opportunities for students, parents and coaches will be available from campus tours to workshops on applying to UMBC and scholarship opportunities as well as “Ask a UMBC STEM student” panels to learn more about Maryland’s latest R1 research university. We encourage you (parents and students alike) to sign up for campus tours and information sessions on the day of the tournament (sign up below).
Information Session
Join a staff member from UMBC’s Office of Undergraduate Admissions and Orientation for a 30-minute information session covering UMBC traditions and values, application requirements, and opportunities for funding your education. Open to students and family members or other guests.
Tours
Small-group tours (~15 people/tour) will be offered on a first-come first-serve basis on tournament day.

Food
During the day, several different on-campus food options will be available for all to purchasing breakfast and lunch. A list of the various options and their hours of operation are listed below:
Starbucks: 7:30 am – 4:00 pm (located University Center Bldg; 1st floor)
Dunkin’: 9:00 am – 2:00 pm (located Commons Bldg; 1st floor)
Chick-Fil-A: 9:00 am – 4:00 pm (located University Center Bldg; 1st floor)
2-Mato & Wild Greens: 11:00 am – 2:00 pm (located Commons Bldg; main floor)
UMBC Shopping
The campus bookstore (located next to the Helicopter Event) will be open on tournament day for all of your UMBC swag needs from 9:00 am – 2:00 pm.
